Hunting and Shooting
Events For Women
The California Department of Fish and Game through its Game Bird Heritage program, is sponsoring a number of workshops and clinics during 2000. Classroom instruction, demonstrations, shooting opportunities, and other activities will provide beginning hunters with the skills and knowledge they will need to begin their own hunting adventures. Experienced hunters interested in trying something new, can gain knowledge and learn skills that will help them successfully hunt different types of game.

In addition to the events below, the first annual Rendevous de Femme, an introduction to muzzle loading and black powder, is in the planning stages with its date not yet determined.
