Monster First Hog

Vince Shelby shows off his first wild boar, and what a boar it was.
The Hunt Story

Thirteen-year-old Vince Shelby of Riverside, California, took this boar which sported three-inch plus tusks, Vince ande his father were hunting with Kyler Hamann of Boaring Experiences Unlimited out of Atascadero, California. Vince used a Winchester Model 70 in .270 Win. with a Leupold 3.5x10 scope to bag his boar. He knocked the hog down with one shot at 60 yards and then his dad, Craig Shelby, finished it off with a .45-70. This was Vince's first hunt and no one was prouder than Vince's father. The boar is at the taxidermist's and father and son are already planning their next hunt.
