Picture of the Week
A Nice Group of Bachelor Bucks
Whether you're an archer or a rifle hunter, a scene like this gets your blood pumping fast. If you look closely, you will notice that the mule deer to the far left is a spike and the deer to the far right is a forky. In addition, with the use of magnification the deer second from the right is also a spike. This picture was taken in the beginning of August a few years ago in one of California's X zones. With many of the Western states big game drawing deadlines past, hunters are praying they will be lucky enough to draw a tag and hoping their luck holds so they will find a group of bucks like these in the upcoming deer season.
