Predator Policy Meetings
Set In Arizona
Six public informational meetings across the state have been set for the Arizona Game and Fish Department's draft Predator Management Policy.

The Department developed the draft plan in response to public input during the predator hunt contest rule public hearings in 1998 and 1999. Arizona Game and Fish commissioners said the draft predator management plan is viewed as "a starting point, not an ending point." Game and Fish personnel will be on hand at the meetings to answer public questions on the predator policy. However, all formal comments on the plan must be in writing if they are to be considered. A copy of the draft policy is available for review on the Department's Internet Home Page at www.azgfd.com, and look under "What's New." Copies of the draft policy are also available for review at each regional office. Should you need a copy mailed to you, please contact Bruce Taubert, Assistant Director, Wildlife Management Division, 2221 W. Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85023 or call (602) 789-3300.

Comments on the predator policy can be sent to the above address, faxed to (602) 789-3364 or e-mailed directly to the Department via the hyperlink on the Department's Internet Home Page adjacent to the draft plan. All comments must be received by October 6. Public meetings have been set for 7-8 p.m. at the following locations:
