| This tom was taken on public land in California on April 20, 2001. It took Steve Peeples (left) from Valley Springs, California, six hunts to finally bag him. His buddy Al Kirschenmann hunted with him. The gobbler weighed in at 18 pounds and sported a 10 1/2 inch beard. | |||||||||||||
