California Dream Hunt
The Arroyo Grande Sportsmen's Club is conducting a fundraiser and the grand prize is being billed as a "California Dream Hunt" — a fully guided hunt for a bull tule elk on a private ranch in San Luis Obispo County. There will be a total of five prizes awarded when the drawing is held at the club's monthly meeting on August 15.

As stated above, the grand prize is a five-day hunt for a bull tule elk on the 11,000-acre Bar B6 Ranch. It is a one-on-one guided hunt and is valued at over $10,000. It includes the landowner tag, accomodations and meals, and trophy care of the harvested animal. The hunt will take place between August 15 and November of 2001.

Second prize is a two-day hunt for a cow tule elk, valued at $1,500. It includes the tag, guide, meals and lodging, and trophy care.

Third prize is a Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in .300 Win Mag.

Fourth prize is a one-day guided pig hunt on the Bar B6.

Fifth prize is a one-day guided coyote hunt on the Bar B6.

Tickets are $50 each and only 500 will be sold. All profits go to support the wildlife conservation and educational programs of the club. Tickets can be purchased by sending your name, address and telephone number along with a check made out to the Arroyo Grande Sportsmen's Club to:
