Learn calling techniques from experts. Shop for the latest turkey hunting gear from local vendors. Valuable information about one of America's most challenging game birds. Purchase Cleveland National Forest Maps and Adventure Passes. Discuss San Diego County's wild turkey population, habitat and biology with county and state officials.

--Turkey Shoot--
Ranges open before 9 a.m. and after 12 p.m.
Pattern your gun on paper targets.
Shot shells will be supplied.
Archery Range will host a separate contest.

---IMPORTANT INFORMATION--

Admission to the Turkey Tune-Up is not required for submitting an entry for the Lake Sutherland property hunts. All entries must in by 1 p.m. on March 2nd to be eligible. Deadline will be strictly enforced and one submission per hunt party only. A "Qualified Hunter" must possess a current CDFG Hunting License and/or CDFG Physically Disabled License or Junior License to submit for hunt drawing. A Blue Handicap Card and regular Hunting License is also acceptable. Hunts are provided via a partnership of the City Lakes Program, the NWTF and CDFG. Successful winners may choose one hunting partner who meets the above criteria and is present at the drawing. Hunting partners are non-transferable. First chosen, first choice of available dates. The donation is suggested to help cover our chapter expenditures; registering for the Lake Sutherland hunts is free. Children under 15 are free. Winners of the Sutherland hunts are required to pay their costs on March 2. It is $10 per hunter and/or $15 boat rental, if needed.
