Bighorn Sheep Workshop
The Arizona Heritage Alliance is sponsoring a Bighorn Sheep Workshop weekend starting July 26 in Kingman, followed by a Saturday morning Colorado River trip.

Participants will begin the weekend activities with a tour of the Kingman Power Plant at 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 7 p.m. presentation by biologists at the Arizona Game and Fish Department Regional Office. They will depart at 8 a.m. Saturday for Willow Beach to board boats for the three-hour float trip on the Colorado River where they will watch for bighorn sheep and other species.

Participants should be prepared for high temperatures by bringing hats, sunscreen and appropriate dress for a quick dip in the cool water. Lunch will be provided by the Alliance.

The workshop costs $35 per person for Alliance members and $55 per person for non-members. Accommodations are not included. The workshop is limited to 30 people on a first-come, first served basis. To register for the workshop, send your check to: Arizona Heritage Alliance, 160 S. Ash, Suite 203, Tempe, AZ 85281, along with your name, address, and telephone number or e-mail address.
