Questions for Wildlife Agencies
Wyoming

Question:
Do I need a license to bowfish for carp?

Answer:
No, you do not. Fish, such as carp and suckers, are classified as nongame fish in Wyoming. G&F regulations allow the taking of nongame fish by bow and arrow, including crossbows. No license is required for this activity, and there are no limits on the number of nongame fish that may be taken.

Archers are reminded that only nongame fish are legal quarry. Game fish are off-limits to archers in Wyoming.

Idaho

I qualify for a senior license when I get to be 65 years old, right?

Answer:
You do indeed, as long as you have been an Idaho resident for the five years previous. Growing older in Idaho does have its rewards.

Question:
When will I know whether I drew on my deer and elk hunts?

Answer:
Notification should come by July 10 of drawing results but those results will also be posted on the Fish and Game web site at www2.state.id.us/fishgame.
