There are still some deer permits remaining, but there is a change this year – applications will only be accepted via phone or Internet, advised Arizona Game and Fish Department officials. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on August 12,

Applications for first-come, first-served will be accepted on-line at www.azgfd.com or by telephone at 1-866-GO-AZGFD on or after August 12. The following permits will be available:
