New California Game Bird Club
Wilderness Unlimited recently opened an A-Zone private licensed game bird club on ranch land east of Williams, California. Wilderness Unlimited manages thousands of acres of land in California for the private use of its membership. This new operation will also be open to the public hunter on a "pay-per-day" basis.

A-Zone licensed game bird clubs are situated in the Central Valley portions of California deemed as sustainable wild pheasant habitat. A-Zone game bird clubs this season are allowed to operate from October 12, 2002 through February 2, 2003.

The Wilderness Unlimited Game Bird Club is located in the heart of Colusa County, which is known for prime waterfowl and pheasant hunting. Several rice fields with ample cover have been set aside for hunters.

Arrangements can made for 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. hunts. Bird plants are 50% hens, require a six-bird minimum and are priced at $20 per bird. Hunters have three hours to use their assigned fields.

The released game bird club concept is an excellent way to finish off a duck hunt or train a young hunter or dog.

Reservations are suggested. Drop-in hunters can also be accommodated on a space available basis.

Game Bird Location: 6084 Highway 20, 1 1/2 miles east of Williams, California.
