		Refund for Deer Hunters
		The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) will issue refunds to deer hunters for unused tags in zones affected by the temporary forest closures in the greater Los Angeles area. The refunds will be for affected zones D11, D13, D14, D15, and D19. To request a refund for unused deer tags for the D11, D13, D14, D15 and D19 zones, mail the original unused deer tag(s) to: Department of Fish and Game License and Revenue Branch 3211 S Street Sacramento, CA 95816 Attn: Refunds Hunters should allow eight to 10 weeks for refund processing. License agent handling fees and application processing fees are nonrefundable. Refunds will not be issued for hunting licenses. The deadline for requesting a deer tag refund is Jan. 31, 2003. The public can address questions concerning refunds to DFG's License and Revenue Branch at (916) 227-2252.
