Hunting Memories

Trophy Boars

I went on a hunt with my brother, Jon, near King City, California. Our goal was to bag two trophy boars (2" inch or better tusks). We succeeded! Jon's boar was estimated at about 240-250 pounds, with tusks that measured 3-3/4" and 4" inches, while mine was a little over 200 pounds with a matching pair of 3-1/2" inch tusks.

We're displaying our "caped" animals in the picture (that's me on the right) and expect to have them on the wall soon. Oh, and though my brother is the experienced hunter and "country" boy, I've always been the "city" one...and this was my first hunt ever! Now I'm hooked!
