| George Coughran, retired Regional Director with Ducks Unlimited, and his son-in-law Jerry Bellinger spent most of last summer scouting the Lassen National Forest to find some good hunting spots. The work paid off with this nice 4x4 blacktail taken by George on the last weekend of the 2002 C4 Zone deer season. The buck was 20-inches wide and 18-inches tall and in great condition. His new Steyr 25/06 with Nosler reloads did the job. Now the scouting is underway to top this next season! |
