Just thought I'd drop you a note on this item in your last issue: GREAT ODDS FOR ELK HUNT RAFFLE New Mexico elk hunt raffle has sold few tickets.
Do you realize this is behind high fence? A "guaranteed" "hunt" too? That's why they aren't selling many tickets, good cause or not, in my humble opinion.

Re your article on ecological terrorism in Oregon, the vandals are common criminals, NOT terrorists. You cheapen the very real danger from dedicated terrorists with this kind of hyperbole. It also shows clearly the author's lack of understanding of the word "ecological". Look it up in a textbook.

Please look at the picture titled Scouting Pays Off. You showed George Coughran with a blacktail deer shot in zone C4. THERE ARE NO BLACKTAIL EAST OF THE SACRAMENTO RIVER, PERIOD !! Please do not title pictures of deer as blacktail deer when they are crosses or all mule deer.
Remember if it's not in the A or B zones, it cannot be a BLACKTAIL DEER!
