Women's Pheasant Hunt
The California Department of Fish and Game and Pheasants Forever will be cosponsoring a women's pheasant hunt to take place on the Fleming Unit of Honey Lake Wildlife Area, located in Wendel, Lassen County.

The hunt, which is limited to 40 women, will be from 8:00 a.m. until noon October 18, 2003. All hunters must possess a valid 2003-2004 California hunting license and an upland game bird stamp. This year's resident sport hunting license will cost $29.75 and the upland game bird stamp is $6.25.

Dogs and dog handlers will be provided to hunters without dogs.
